I know there is an answer to every mothers’ quest for balance between their needs and those of their child. The need for rejuvenation, for self care, to receive as well as give.
There is a way through this that is natural and authentic and fulfilling.
There is a way that deepens our connection to ourselves and our children.
There is a way that brings feelings of space and well-being, whilst still being able to give abundantly and gracefully to those in our care.
There is a way which honours our own values as well as those of our children.
I hold the key to unlocking the doorway to my own peace, and freedom from the resentment and anger that occasionally arises in me when my own needs give way to the needs of my family.
I am absolutely sure in the depth of my heart, I feel it with the conviction of every fibre of my being that this answer lies within each of us, in the unfolding and comprehension of our own stories, in the deepening of our connection to our children, in the depths of our vulnerability and the face of our anxieties.
